FAQs

Good to know

Some of the questions people ask before joining a Welcome Home retreat. If yours is not here, send us a message.

Do I need to be good at yoga?

You do not need to be "good" at yoga, but you do need to enjoy it!

Do I need to be fit?

This is a yoga and outdoors retreat, so you will need a moderate level of fitness. You can always decide not to take part in an activity, but it is best to give things a go and try new things. We can do hard things!

Can I drink alcohol?

Yes, we are not prescriptive! Some wine and drinks are included in the price, and if you would like more you can buy it. Just be aware that the activities start early and continue all day.

What do I need to bring?

See our what to bring page for a full packing list.

Do I need to bring my yoga mat?

No. All yoga mats and equipment are provided.

What is included in the price?

Our retreats are all inclusive. You simply need to get yourself to the recommended airport and we take it from there. Accommodation, all meals, all practices and transfers to and from the nearest airport are included. See rates for more detail.

Can I come early or leave late?

The retreat is a six-night stay. If you need to arrive earlier, we are happy to recommend places to stay nearby. Just get in touch.

How many people will be taking part?

We keep our retreats small so we can give you the care we want you to have. You can expect up to 10 guests, plus Cath and Dani.

I am vegetarian, is that OK?

Of course. Just let us know about any dietary requirements when you book.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

All prices are per person. For the shared twin rate you book with a friend who shares the room with you. All other rooms are single occupancy, unless you ask to share, in which case we will give you a two-person rate based on the booking round you book in.

How do I get to Portugal?

The closest airport is Faro, and we will collect you from there.

How do I get to Kerry?

Kerry Airport is small, unique and super friendly, with flights from Dublin, London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Alicante and Faro. The nearest train and bus stations are Killarney and Tralee. We will make every effort to collect you from Kerry Airport or the bus and train stations, depending on arrival times. Cork and Shannon airports are about a 1.5-hour drive away.

What if I need to cancel?

See our cancellation policy. We keep it simple and fair.

Still wondering? Catherine would love to hear from you.
